My First Biscornu !!

Back somewhere around the second week of November I decided I wanted to give a Biscornu a try. So I sat down and started designing (took a couple days) and after the stitching was done I checked out a couple of online tutorials then sat down to see if I could put what I read into a proper finish.
It was so much easier than I thought it would be, but then came the search for the perfect button for the top (waited 3 weeks to find them), I just love the scroll work with the crystal. I chose a heart for the bottom since it already had stitched hearts.
I was amazed at how nice it turned out.
I really do think I have become addicted to stitching small items.
Is there a 12 step program out there for this addiction?
Maybe blogs that encourage this addiction would be better. LOL

  11. You did a lovely job on the design and on the finishing. You gave me a great idea. Last time I was in Shanghai, I came a cross a marvelous button shop and was at a loss as to what I might buy the buttons for. Now I know. So next time I go, I will buy some cool looking ones that would go nicely on a biscornu. :)

  12. Love the Biscornu! I'm addicted to smalls too and really feel like I'm missing something if I don't do a couple of them a month between the larger projects.
