My First Strawberry Pinkeep

I have wanted to make this little pinkeep for the longest time and I've finally gotten around to doing it.
I just love this one and it's Quaker theme. It was supposed to be filled with either sand or emery, but since I lacked either one I used fiber-fill.

Design: Strawberry Pinkeep by Blackbird Designs
From the 2006 Just Cross Stitch Special Christmas Issue
Stitched on 32ct. Lambswool linen using DMC Variegated thread #115

Thanks for stopping by and I always appreciate the lovely comments you all leave behind.

  2. That is really cute. Can I make one?
How do you sew it to look like that shape? Guess I'll have to do some research on that.
Very nice. You probably had as much fun on the finishing as you had for the stitching!

  5. awww that is too sweet... how did you get it like that? I can understand the cone shape but your stitching appears to wrap around as though it was stitched to be shaped like that... was it? lol
