Needles & Scissors Box

I finished stitching this piece a few weeks back and was just waiting for some inspiration to slap me upside the head so I could turn it into a finish.
It took a while, but finally on Thursday I got a round to the finishing.

The lining fabric matches the "Needles & Scissors" needle book I stitched and finished a few months back. It's a bit hard to see here, I didn't realize how closely the background fabric matched in the pics.

"Needles & Scissors" Stitching Box
Designer: Sandy in MT
Stitched on 32ct. linen using DMC threads and tea dyed after stitching.
Attached to a painted paper mache box lined with cotton fabric and has a magnet in the lid for holding needles, hand made cording from DMC pearl cotton threads surround the design.

I'd like to thank all of you who stop by to take a peek at my blog for leaving a piece of yourselves behind. I truly appreciate all of your comments, they warm my soul and keep me stitching and designing.

Take Care Everyone & Happy Stitching...
Sandy
