Hancock Fabrics Is Closing

I just found out that Hancock Fabrics is going out of business. Right now everything in their stores and on-line is 20% to 50% off. It's a good time to stock up on any sewing, stitching, and craft supplies you need.

  1. I saw that too.
That's too bad because they had different merchandise than JoAnn's, and I liked going there.
    Another shop gone. :(

  2. Hancock store here closed several years ago. Joann Fabric shop doesn't carry much in X-stitch. Michaels doesn't carry any x-stitch kits in store here. Hobby Lobby used to carry tons but not much in store either. Been finding more kits online lately.

  3. We lost our Hancocks stores several years ago...it's sad that all we have is craft stores and quilt stores now. I don't know what people do who like to sew clothing because there just anywhere to shop for good fabric anymore. Even the Joanns stores near me don't appear to be doing very well - they keep reducing their inventory but I think Hobby Lobby is taking some of their business. I love Hobby Lobby but wish they carried more fabric and XS of course.
