Time for another update, this time it's for the 2015 Smalls SAL
Here is my finish for the month of April.
Found this saying on Pinterest and just had to chart it so I could stitch it up. It suits me to a tee according to my hubs. It's stitched on 28 count using DMC threads. I'll most likely turn it into a small pillow.
Tried out another crafty endeavor last week.
I decided to try my hand at dyeing my own buttons. So easy, and great results using Rit Dye.
The dyes were: Tangerine (top left), Teal ( top right) and Sunshine Orange (bottom).
I've already used a few of the ones from the Tangerine batch, they make cute flower centers.
Well that's it for this post, time to go pull some coffee dyed muslin out of the oven so I can see how it turned out. Until next time, thank you so much for stopping by and any thoughts you may leave behind.
Take Care & Happy Stitchin'
Hugs, Sandy
Love the saying - suits me as well... Another one I saw recently, "I often question my sanity. Sometimes, it responds."
ReplyDeleteWhat does it take to dye your own buttons? These look very nice.
Happy stitching!
Love your new finish, and well done on charting it yourself!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, that also suits me to a t. Hmmm, wonder if it's possible that all stitcher's fit this saying.
ReplyDeleteThe buttons are so cute.
Have a wonderful weekend.
If this repeats, I'm sorry. I love the saying and it also fits me perfectly. Wonder if it applies to most stitcher's. The buttons look great. Have a wonderful weekend.

LOL love the saying, you stitched it up nicely. Have never heard of dyeing buttons but yours look great!
ReplyDeleteDying buttons! Now there's something new I learned today. Interesting.
ReplyDeleteLove your chart and beautiful buttons. Do you think most dyes would work. Not many available here and I have hundreds of buttons.
